New Audio Frontiers Reference 845 Mono Amplifier – Special Edition

These amplifiers are the top of the New Audio Frontiers’ production range and they can easily drive all the speakers available on the market, in fact, Reference 845 Special Edition can provide up to 50 watts per unit. The whole amplifier is based on a zero feedback, pure class A circuitry and the output stage is composed by two 845 tubes in a parallel single-ended configuration. Thanks to tube rectified power supply based on 5R4GY vacuum diode, strictly selected components and hand-wound silvered copper output litz transformers these power amplifier can supply an extremely refined and transparent sound up to their maximum rated power. The output transformers are built with core in amorphous and the winding is double wire for avoid the parassistic oscillation and many loss into the core.

These power amplifiers completely disappear on listening and can create a three dimensional soundstage which is a rare example of holographic sound and “live” music breath. As a result of extensive listening tests, the very best quality parts available are used throughout. With these upgrades, each amplifier is now able to produce the most precise, spacious, tonally neutral, yet musical sound possible. They also offer an extraordinary control over the bass, articulate, deep, never intrusive. The midhigh range is reproduced with a high transparency to forget the sound reproduction and more closer to live event.
