Pathos InPol Heritage MkII Pure Class-A Integrated Amplifier
$21,995.00
The Pathos InPol Heritage MkII is a flagship dual-mono, pure Class-A integrated amplifier from Vicenza, Italy, combining a tube input stage with Pathos’ patented double-InPol output circuit. Delivering 80W per channel into 8Ω with a fully balanced signal path, it’s built for listeners who want the full emotional weight of tube sound paired with the grip and control to drive demanding loudspeakers.
Description
The Pathos InPol Heritage MkII Pure Class-A Integrated Amplifier sits at the top of Pathos Acoustics’ InPol lineup, expanding on the technology first proven in the InPol² and InPol Remix models with a larger, more powerful dual-mono implementation. A tube input stage — two Tung-Sol ECC803S and two Sovtek 6H30 valves — handles all voltage amplification and imparts its full harmonic character, while Pathos’ latest-generation double-InPol solid-state output stage supplies the current gain needed to drive real-world speaker loads, without correction from negative feedback.
The Heritage MkII revision adds a doubled power supply section, making the amplifier dual-mono from the transformers forward, and introduces an additional heatsink to increase radiating surface area and improve MOSFET placement. The result is stronger dynamics at low frequencies and greater power headroom across a range of speaker impedances, while retaining the same power output and exterior aesthetic as the standard InPol Heritage. The chassis itself is 14cm longer than the standard InPol Heritage to accommodate the added circuitry, and comes fitted with new sealed VU meters and WBT speaker terminals.
Output power is rated at 80W per channel into 8Ω, enough to comfortably drive most floorstanding loudspeakers between 4 and 8 Ohms with authority and headroom to spare. Volume control uses purely resistive relay-switched attenuators for a fully balanced signal path from input to output. For listeners who want a digital front end built in, the Heritage MkII can be fitted with the optional HiDac Mk2 board, adding USB, coaxial, and optical digital inputs to the existing four RCA and two XLR analog inputs.
As with every Pathos amplifier, the InPol Heritage MkII is designed and manufactured in-house in Vicenza, Italy — from the chassis and PCBs to the hand-finished wood front panel — reflecting the brand’s commitment to complete control over the manufacturing process, and its reputation as one of the most distinctive-sounding integrated amplifiers in high-end audio.
