Due to the Active Shielding and Quantum Tunneling the Ethernet Active SE cable provides an extremely low package drop on the network which leads to less re-transmissions. The result is a much more detailed sound.

These active shielded Cat6 cables provide a great improvement for systems using NAS (Network Attached Storages) or other Ethernet based infrastructure in their system for Hi-Rez streaming audio or video.

The Ethernet Active SE cable is Synergistic Research’s 2nd generation digital cable, referred to as Digital Power Tool Series, and another one to offer the Active Shielding. The Active Shielding is a closed circuit that applies DC current with a buffer circuit between the shield and ground and separate conductors carrying the ground signal. Synergistic feels that the Active Shield reduces noise and improves frequency extension with enhanced detail. The power for the Active Shield is provided by a supplied MPC (Mini Power Coupler).

Fine tuning of this cable is possible with the supplied 2 UEF Tuning Circuits. UEF Tuning Circuits lower the noise floor in SR Active cables and devices equipped for removable circuits while delivering enhanced resolution and musicality. And because they are smoother and more musical sounding, there is no need for the old Enigma Circuits. UEF Tuning Circuits sound smoother and richer while offering increased resolution and detail without sounding strident or bright. The gray Tuning Circuit is a standard and provides neutral sound, and for the ultra resolution, use the Silver Tuning Circuit, which will allow your Active SR components and cables capture the essence of the live event with more detail and realism than before.
