The Lexicon RV-9 was designed to ensure that the most important components of a premium AV system were executed with maximum effectiveness. Superfluous connections and features were eliminated and resources focused to maintain best in class audio and video signal integrity and processing, as well as uncompromised Class G amplification on all channels, ensuring exceptional transparency even with the most demanding program material. The video and audio stages are designed for current and upcoming technologies. HDMI2.0a with HDCP2.2 4K “Ultra HD” and 3D video capability as well as Dolby Vision compatibility are built in.

An audiophile grade 24Bit /192kHz DAC, Dirac room equalization, exceptional dynamics and low distortion ensure pristine sound for music and movies. The Harman proprietary Logic 7 Immersion™ up mixer allows content to envelop the listener with a rich and natural three dimensional sound. Flexible configuration, Spotify Connect, and a zone 2 with audio, 4K video, IR control, triggers and power option, make the RV-9 an excellent choice for a broad range of applications.

The Lexicon RV-9 leverages the 24bit /192k Cirrus CS42528, featuring 114dB dynamic range and -100 THD+N in and out, for A/D and D/A conversion. The analog circuitry on the input and output stages is optimized for unequalled dynamic range, ultra-low distortion, and unmatched audio clarity.

Class G Amplification – The Best of Both Worlds
Class G is complex to design, but when engineered correctly, is superior to other classes. Class G offers greater efficiency and transparency, with less wasted heat energy than class A. Like a hybrid car engine, Class G implements multiple power supplies. The first power supply runs in pure Class A, which has no crossover distortion. If a dynamic signal is received that goes beyond the capability of this first power supply, the secondary supply is gradually incorporated up to full rated power output as required. This efficient design means additional power is only used when required. Modern high speed silicon allows this switch to take place well beyond the audio bandwidth. Multiple output devices within the amplifier ensures your listening experience is tight, punchy and crystal clear.

Flexibility
With 11.1 decoding, 7.2.4 preamp outputs, plus 7 channels of amplification, independent zone 2- 4K video, IR, and triggers, combined with RS232 and Ethernet control, the RV-9 offers exceptional flexibility. Independent volume control for the subwoofers allow fine tuning, and front panel headphone and aux (3.5mm) jacks add convenience.
