After establishing the Endorphin as a critically acclaimed, award-winning reference disc player, Pathos engineers worked backwards to preserve as much of its sonic character as possible in a smaller, more attainable package. The result shares nearly identical analog output circuitry with the Endorphin — the two players differ mainly in their transport mechanism and power supply, rather than in fundamental sound quality.
