After three very successful years we have technically redesigned the S-10 to a great extent by refining and expanding the modular concept design. Based on this modular platform, the new S-10 II can be configured individually in different versions, depending upon the request and the requirements. The S-10 II includes a Music network player, computer playback, USB drive playback, analogue preamp with a quadrable analogue volume control system, a new dual mono Digital to Analog converter, an updated PCM – DSD converter converting all PCM-signals to DSD. Additionally, a separate self-sufficient server unit with variable hard-disk capacity can be installed. Furthermore, we have implemented a completely new streamer platform that can be equipped with a second self-sufficient streamer module for the server option. Of course, for Ayon the best possible reproduction has top priority. It’s spacious 3D sound illustration combined with an enormous agility, timbre and powerful reproduction are only a few trademarks unified in this exceptional device.
This vacuum tube based 6H30 network player offers the outstanding performance you would expect from an Ayon product, setting a new sound performance standard in its price range.

Signal Path
We believe that the simplest circuits work best together with the shortest signal path. That is why our pre-amplifiers to date have used single-ended pure class-A circuitry. The shorter the signal path is, the less possibility of sonic degradation from various sources, including the wire itself. Even on the circuit boards, the copper traces are kept to a very minimum length. The completely redesigned circuit board provides a more straightforward and direct approach to the signal paths.

Power Supply
The power supplies have been further refined with new components and enhanced AC line noise filtration. Separate power transformer windings and filters provide total isolation between the input and output stage which makes this a pure power source and it is a critical attribute for a 6H30 output stage. We also use electrolytic capacitors with much larger storage capacity to make up for the loss in filtering when using resistors in lieu of inductors.

I bought my S10 about 5 months ago. I’m using it as my streamer/DAC/Preamp. It is driving my D’agostino amp. I get the best of both worlds with this combo, both tubes and Solid State. I’ve listened to many DAC/Streamer combo’s that are quite a bit more. It isn’t even close! This piece is tremendous and is one of the best values i’ve Seen! Strongly recommend!

Another outstanding unit from Ayon. Honestly I would never have believed music could be this good and I have had some of the best equipment throughout many year’s of toil and experimentation. Word’s could never convey how amazing the Ayon s-10 II truly is. I have been speechless ever since. The dsd upscaling is phenomenal and it take’s the music to a new level most people will never achieve or understand unless you follow your passion and purchase one. I assure anyone that this is a much higher standard and will provide a huge significant upgrade to your system and cause you to feel and interpret music in an entirely new way. Now when I listen to music it’s an incredible experience every time with the musician’s right in my music room. All my equipment is now exclusively Ayon. my dream is now an enjoyable reality. It took a long time to get here. In final I wish to express my sincerest thanks to AYON AUDIO for superior products at a fair price in the high end audio world. Also a huge thank you to Charlie Harrison from USA TUBE AUDIO. Looks like I’ll be keeping this S-10II and the RS9 Roon Rock Server. FWIW, I put it up against some significantly more expensive stuff (dCS Bartok & Rossini) and it more than held its own. The S-10II was actually Superior – And it continues to improve…

Although my new RS9 experience started off with a rough ride due to “my error” in initial setup, Paul took care of getting me another NEW RS9 expeditiously! The 2nd time around Paul set me up with a “Dynamite Technician” Mike, to help set things up remotely from scratch on my end. The end result and a couple of VERY LATE night sessions later, the RS9 can only be described as TOTALLY AWESOME!! As a direct result, I’ve been going through my audio library & hearing so much more from all my ripped CD’s! Although my old Nucleus, which definitely impressed me at first for at least a year, doesn’t even come close to the RS9!! Everything operates faster, smoother, and the sound is nothing short of SPECTACULAR!! This is my 1st purchase from USA Tube Audio, and it must be said that they’ve been a TOP NOTCH dealer from beginning to end!! Paul, Shelly and Mike did everything to make my 1st purchase totally worthwhile! USA Tube Audio is definitely “old school” where product knowledge & customer service are concerned!!
